How TraderFuel Reviewed BrightFunded
The information in this review was checked against BrightFunded’s current homepage, official help center, platform page, payout policy, scaling rules, and public Trustpilot profile status.
- Program rules: profit targets, minimum trading days, daily drawdown, and maximum drawdown for all three current plans.
- Payout audit: first-request timing, default payout cycle, add-ons, reward split, and payment methods.

❌ The Bad
- Weekly payouts require a paid add-on.

What Is BrightFunded?
BrightFunded is a Dubai-based prop trading company offering simulated evaluation and funded-account programs for forex, CFDs, and digital assets. It is not a broker, and traders operate in a simulated environment while becoming eligible for real-money performance rewards.
Traders select an evaluation, meet the target without violating the drawdown limits, complete KYC, and then receive a funded-stage demo account from which eligible performance rewards can be paid in real money.
BrightFunded Account Types
1-Step
- 3% daily drawdown
- 6% trailing maximum drawdown
- 5 minimum trading days
2-Step Bright
- 4% daily drawdown
- 8% static maximum drawdown
- 5 minimum days per phase
2-Step Classic
- 5% daily drawdown
- 10% static maximum drawdown
- 5 minimum days per phase
BrightFunded Rules Explained
Five Trading Days
Every evaluation stage requires at least five trading days. A day counts only when at least one trade remains open for 60 seconds or longer.
Balance or Equity Can Trigger a Breach
The daily loss threshold is monitored against both balance and equity. The reset occurs around the CET rollover window.
Static on 2-Step, Trailing on 1-Step
Both 2-Step programs use a fixed maximum-loss threshold. The 1-Step plan follows the highest equity until the limit locks at the original balance.
No Consistency Rule
BrightFunded states that its current programs do not impose a consistency percentage on profits.
EAs Are Allowed
Expert Advisors are permitted, provided they do not exploit delayed feeds, platform errors, or prohibited execution methods.
Only Between Your Own Accounts
Copy trading is allowed between accounts owned by the same person. Copying signals or trades from another individual is prohibited.
BrightFunded News Trading Rules
News trading is unrestricted during Phase 1 and Phase 2. Funded accounts are different: opening or closing a targeted instrument within five minutes before or after a major event is prohibited.
BrightFunded Payout Rules: What the Homepage Does Not Explain
BrightFunded advertises “24-hour guaranteed payouts.” This refers to processing speed once a trader is eligible and submits an approved request. It does not remove the initial 30-day eligibility period or convert every account into a weekly payout account.
BrightFunded pays by bank transfer or USDC on the ERC-20 network. Bank payouts are processed in euros, while crypto payouts are sent in USDC. BrightFunded does not add its own payout fee and does not impose a minimum reward amount. Third-party costs can still apply, including blockchain gas, payment-processor charges, banking fees, and currency-conversion costs. These external deductions typically range from $5 to $50, although unusual market, liquidity, compliance, or conversion conditions can produce a higher charge.
How the 15% Evaluation Profit Reward Actually Works
The 15% evaluation reward is not an immediate cash payment when the trader passes. It applies only to paid challenge accounts and is calculated from eligible evaluation profits.
To unlock it, the trader must achieve at least 10% funded-account growth, receive a payout for that performance, and contact support. BrightFunded then issues a new funded account whose starting balance includes the calculated 15% evaluation bonus. The bonus can be withdrawn with the next eligible payout after placing a trade to activate the cycle.
BrightFunded Scaling Plan and 100% Split
BrightFunded reviews funded accounts over a four-month period. To qualify, the trader must be profitable in at least two of those months, generate at least 10% total profit during the period, complete at least two payouts, and have the account at breakeven or in profit when requesting the scale-up.
Each successful scale-up adds 30% of the original account size. The process is not automatic: the trader must contact support. BrightFunded states that the scaling plan has no published maximum balance and that the reward split rises to 100% from the third scale-up onward.
BrightFunded Trading Platforms
MetaTrader 5
Desktop, web, and mobile access with broad EA support, charting, and familiar order management.
cTrader
Suitable for manual and algorithmic traders who prefer a cleaner interface and advanced order controls.
DXtrade
Web-based multi-asset platform with integrated charting, risk controls, and mobile access.
BrightFunded Trustpilot Reviews and Reputation
BrightFunded previously had fewer than 1,000 public Trustpilot reviews, but the platform removed the displayed TrustScore. The profile also carried a notice stating that a number of fake reviews had been removed.
This does not prove that BrightFunded is illegitimate, but it means TraderFuel will not use the former Trustpilot score as evidence of reliability. Public-review volume and star ratings should be treated as secondary evidence, not as a substitute for the actual rules, payout policy, and firsthand payout records.

BrightFunded Promo Codes and TraderFuel Discount
At the time of this update, BrightFunded displayed three seasonal codes on its homepage:
SUMMER30
30% off eligible 1-Step purchases.
SUMMER25
25% off eligible 2-Step Bright purchases.
SUMMER15
15% off eligible 2-Step Classic purchases.
The TraderFuel affiliate link provides a standard 10% discount. Because the seasonal codes are currently stronger, use the plan-specific summer code while it remains active. Discounts may change or expire, so confirm the final checkout total before payment.
BrightFunded Review FAQ
Is BrightFunded legitimate?
BrightFunded is an operating prop trading company with published program rules, a help center, funded-account agreements, and documented payout methods. Its programs use simulated accounts, and no evaluation or payout is guaranteed.
Does BrightFunded offer weekly payouts by default?
No. The standard first payout becomes available after 30 days, followed by a 14-day cycle. Weekly payouts require a paid add-on selected at checkout.
What is BrightFunded’s default profit split?
The default reward split is 80% to the trader. A 90% split is available through an add-on, while 100% begins from the third successful scaling milestone.
Does BrightFunded have a consistency rule?
No. BrightFunded states that its current 1-Step, 2-Step Bright, and 2-Step Classic programs do not use a consistency rule.
Which BrightFunded account is best?
2-Step Bright offers the best balance for many traders because it uses an 8% and 5% target with static 8% maximum drawdown. Classic offers more loss room, while 1-Step is faster but uses trailing drawdown.
Can I use an EA at BrightFunded?
Yes. EAs are allowed, but strategies that exploit latency, delayed feeds, platform errors, or prohibited cross-account manipulation are not permitted.
Can I trade news at BrightFunded?
News trading is unrestricted during evaluation. Funded traders cannot execute on a targeted instrument within five minutes before or after major news events, subject to the firm’s published exceptions.
Final Verdict: Strong Programs, but Read Beyond the Homepage
BrightFunded earns a positive score because its three evaluation structures cover distinct risk preferences, the 2-Step accounts use static drawdown, there is no consistency rule, and traders can choose between MT5, cTrader, and DXtrade.
The main weakness is not the core evaluation structure; it is the presentation of conditional benefits. Weekly payouts require an add-on, the default split is 80%, the 15% evaluation reward has a delayed qualification process, and the first standard reward request requires a 30-day wait.
- Traders who want static drawdown on a two-step evaluation.
- Users who value MT5, cTrader, or DXtrade choice.
- Traders who can wait 30 days for the first standard payout.
- Systematic traders who need EA support.
- You expect weekly payouts without paying for an add-on.
- You want a 90% or 100% split immediately.
- You trade major news aggressively on funded accounts.
- You dislike trailing drawdown and are considering the 1-Step plan.
