The5ers Review 2026: My Honest CFD Prop Firm Verdict
The5ers CFDs
The Summer Plan is available as a $100K Growth 1-Step account for $249 and as a $100K High Stakes 2-Step account for $149. Inside High Stakes, enabling the Classic option raises the price to $179. The checkout also contains the regular $100K plans, so make sure the dropdown specifically says “100K Summer Plan” before paying. The TRADERFUEL code gives an additional 5% discount when accepted.

I have reviewed enough prop firms to know that longevity matters more than polished marketing. The5ers has operated since 2016, and that gives it a track record most newer firms cannot match. Its CFD business is built around several distinct paths rather than one generic challenge: High Stakes, Growth, Bootcamp and the limited-time Summer Plan.
My view is direct: The5ers is one of the strongest CFD prop firms for disciplined Forex traders who care about scaling and clearly documented rules. It is not the best option for traders who want instant withdrawals, unrestricted news execution or the loosest possible risk limits.
This review covers only the Forex and CFD programs. I am separating The5ers Futures into its own review because the platforms, account economics and trading rules are different enough that combining them would make both reviews less useful.
The current checkout shows three platform choices: MetaTrader, cTrader for an additional $10, and TradingView. Platform availability can still depend on the exact account selected, so I would confirm it before payment.
My quick verdict
- Best overall CFD route: High Stakes for traders who need 1:100 leverage and a conventional 10% maximum-loss structure.
- Best scaling route: Growth for traders comfortable with the program-specific risk model and focused on long-term account growth.
- Lowest upfront route: Bootcamp, but its three evaluation stages make it slower and less forgiving mentally.
- Best temporary value: the $100K High Stakes Summer Plan at $149, provided its 50% daily consistency rule and payout cap fit your strategy. The Growth Summer Plan costs $249.
The 2026 Expert Verdict
✅ What I like
- Operating history dating back to 2016.
- Unlimited evaluation time across the core CFD programs.
- High Stakes offers 1:100 leverage and a 10% maximum loss.
- Growth offers a dedicated 1-Step route and long-term scaling.
- Overnight and weekend holding are permitted in High Stakes.
- Profit split can increase to 100% at higher scaling levels.
❌ What I do not like
- Approved withdrawals may take 5–8 business days.
- A $150 minimum withdrawal applies to the regular CFD programs.
- Rise, crypto and bank withdrawals generally carry a 3.5% fee.
- High Stakes restricts order execution around high-impact news.
- Several programs require profitable days or consistency conditions.
- The Hub trading environment is simulated, not a cash account owned by the trader.
Is The5ers regulated? The TSG Brokers connection
The5ers itself is not a CySEC-regulated broker. Five Percent Online Ltd. describes its Hub as a simulated proprietary trading environment outside normal financial-regulatory supervision.
What is verifiable is that The5ers’ founders entered regulated brokerage through Trade Set Go Holdings, which acquired a minority stake in TSG Brokers Ltd., a separate Cyprus Investment Firm licensed by CySEC. I consider that a positive sign of long-term infrastructure investment, but it does not extend CySEC protection to The5ers challenge fees, simulated accounts or payout agreements.
The connection strengthens the founders’ corporate credibility. It should not be marketed as “The5ers is CySEC regulated.” The accurate statement is that the founders back a separate CySEC-regulated brokerage business.
The5ers CFD account options
I would not choose an account only by price. The risk model matters more. A cheap challenge with rules that conflict with your strategy is expensive once you fail it.
Summer Plan $100K
- ✔ Growth 1-Step: $249
- ✔ High Stakes 2-Step: $149
- ✔ High Stakes Classic option: $179
- ✔ 1:100 leverage
- ✔ 6% maximum loss
- ⚠ 3% maximum daily loss
- ⚠ 50% consistency per day
- ⚠ $250 withdrawal target / $2,000 payout cap
The route you select changes the price
The $149 price belongs to the $100K High Stakes Summer Plan. The $100K Growth Summer Plan costs $249, while switching on the High Stakes Classic option changes that checkout price to $179. I would not treat any of them as the regular $100K account: select 100K Summer Plan in the dropdown and confirm the Classic toggle before paying.
The 50% consistency rule, $250 withdrawal target and $2,000 payout cap remain important trade-offs.
High Stakes
- ✔ 10% Phase 1 target
- ✔ 5% Phase 2 target
- ✔ 5% daily loss / 10% maximum loss
- ✔ 1:100 leverage
- ✔ 80%–100% profit split
- ⚠ 3 profitable days per phase
- ⚠ No order execution ±2 minutes around high-impact news
Best balance for most Forex traders
This is the program I would compare first. The 10% overall loss limit gives more room than the standard Growth risk structure, and 1:100 leverage is practical for intraday Forex and gold traders. The main catch is the news-execution window and the requirement that a profitable day must reach at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
Growth
- ✔ 1-Step evaluation route
- ✔ Unlimited time
- ✔ Long-term scaling structure
- ⚠ Rules vary between the regular Growth account and the $100K Summer Plan
- ⚠ Select the exact plan in the checkout dropdown
Scaling over flexibility
I like the static loss floor because it does not trail upward with unrealized profits. Still, a 6% total allowance and 1:30 leverage leave less room for aggressive sizing. This is better for controlled swing or intraday traders than for anyone who regularly uses high exposure.
Bootcamp
- ✔ Three progressive demo phases
- ✔ 6% target per evaluation phase
- ✔ 5% maximum loss
- ✔ Unlimited time
- ⚠ 1:30 leverage
- ⚠ More stages mean more chances to make a mistake
Affordable, not easy
Bootcamp lowers the amount paid upfront, but three stages test patience as much as skill. I would choose it only when entry cost matters more than speed. A trader who tends to overtrade after a long evaluation will probably be better served by High Stakes.
Rules that matter before you buy
- ✔Unlimited evaluation time: you are not forced to chase a target before an arbitrary deadline.
- ✔Overnight and weekend holding: permitted in High Stakes, although index swaps can be expensive.
- ✔Own-account copying: The5ers permits copying between accounts owned by the same trader when the specific account limits are respected.
- ✔Markets: FX, metals, indices, oil and crypto are listed for High Stakes.
- ✖High-impact news: High Stakes allows holding trades but prohibits executing orders from two minutes before until two minutes after the release.
- ✖30-day inactivity: inactive High Stakes accounts can expire after more than 30 consecutive days without trading.
- ✖Third-party challenge passing: external signal-copying and account-management services can lead to a breach.
- ✖Prohibited execution methods: latency arbitrage, platform exploitation and other non-replicable practices are not accepted.
The 6% stop-out is static. The loss floor does not rise simply because an open trade moved into profit. For swing traders, that is easier to manage than a trailing drawdown.
The 3% daily mechanism limits the damage you can take in one session, but reaching the total 6% stop-out still ends the account. Both Summer Plan routes use a 3% maximum daily loss and a 6% maximum loss.
Payouts, minimums and fees
The first regular CFD withdrawal can be requested 14 days after the funded account is activated, with subsequent requests available every two weeks. The5ers says approved withdrawals are normally processed within 5–8 business days.
$150 after profit split
This is acceptable, but it is not ideal if you plan to withdraw small amounts from lower-tier accounts.
3.5% withdrawal fee
Convenient for many traders, but the fee is real and needs to be treated as part of your account cost.
3.5% fee, limits may apply
Do not assume crypto means free. It is still a paid withdrawal method under the current policy.
3.5% plus possible bank charges
This can become the most expensive route once intermediary or receiving-bank costs are added.
No withdrawal fee
The catch is obvious: it is useful only if you want to recycle value into more The5ers products.
$250 minimum and $2,000 payout cap
This is stricter than the regular CFD programs, so traders chasing fast or frequent withdrawals should not ignore it.
Trustpilot and community feedback
For a typical Forex or gold trader, I would start by comparing the regular High Stakes account with the $100K High Stakes Summer Plan. The Summer version costs $149, or $179 with Classic enabled, but it uses a 6% maximum loss, 3% daily loss, 50% consistency rule, $250 withdrawal target and $2,000 payout cap. The separate $100K Growth Summer Plan costs $249.
I would choose Growth only when scaling is the main objective and I am comfortable trading with 1:30 leverage inside a 6% total stop-out. I would choose Bootcamp when minimizing the initial fee matters more than reaching funded status quickly.
The mistake would be buying the cheapest option without matching its rules to how you actually trade.
The5ers vs. FTMO for CFD traders
Final Verdict: Is The5ers worth it?
The5ers is one of the CFD prop firms I would take seriously. Its operating history, documented programs and scaling potential give it more substance than firms built mainly around short-lived discounts.
My preferred regular program is High Stakes because 1:100 leverage and a 10% maximum loss are practical for most Forex traders. Growth is the 1-Step alternative, while Bootcamp is the budget route. The strongest Summer value is the $100K High Stakes version at $149; Classic raises it to $179, and the Growth Summer route costs $249.
The weak point is payouts: they are biweekly, may take 5–8 business days to process, and most cash withdrawal methods charge 3.5%. Those terms are acceptable, but they are not market-leading.
- You trade Forex, metals, indices, oil or crypto CFDs.
- You value unlimited evaluation time and long-term scaling.
- You can follow news, inactivity and profitable-day rules precisely.
- You need same-day payouts or fee-free withdrawals.
- Your strategy depends on executing directly around major news.
- You use HFT, latency arbitrage or third-party challenge-passing services.
