Prop Firm Reviews Based on Firsthand Testing, Rules and Payout Evidence
TraderFuel independently researches and compares prop firms using structured program data, official rules and direct trading evidence where available. I built TraderFuel because choosing a prop firm should not depend on discounts, sponsored rankings or vague payout claims. When I have direct experience, I show it. When the evidence comes from official documentation, I say that too.
Three useful starting points—not universal winners
The right prop firm depends on what you trade, how the drawdown is calculated and which payout restrictions fit your strategy. These are practical starting points, not a substitute for reading the full review.
FTMO
A strong starting point for traders who prioritize an established evaluation structure, clearly documented rules and a mature trading environment.
WeMasterTrade
A direct-funding option I have personally traded. It makes more sense for traders who understand the higher entry cost and the exact drawdown restrictions.
FundedNext
A multi-market prop firm with separate CFD and Futures programs. I evaluate each market independently because rules, drawdown structures, pricing and payout conditions can differ materially by program.

Start with the category that matches your market, location or preferred funding model. Each guide compares the rules that matter for that specific use case.
Best Prop Firms
My current comparison based on rules, cost, payout structure and supporting evidence.
Forex & CFD Firms
Compare spreads, platforms, leverage, drawdown and strategy restrictions.
Futures Prop Firms
Compare subscriptions, activation fees, contract limits and trailing drawdown.
Instant Funding
Direct-access programs without a conventional multi-phase evaluation.
For US Traders
Firms filtered by market access, platform support and residency restrictions.
For Beginners
Programs with clearer rules and risk structures that are easier to monitor.
What I verify before recommending a prop firm
TraderFuel evaluates the same core areas across programs so rankings and reviews are based on comparable factors rather than headline discounts or marketing claims.
Rules & Risk Structure
Drawdown design, loss limits, consistency requirements and the rules that determine how much usable risk a program really provides.
Payout Conditions
Profit split, first-payout eligibility, recurring payout timing, minimum thresholds, caps and other conditions that affect access to profits.
Pricing & Value
Entry cost, subscriptions, activation fees, resets and the usable risk traders receive for the price.
Trading Flexibility
Platforms, news trading, overnight and weekend holding, EAs, copy trading and other strategy restrictions.
Company Reliability
Reviewed separately so firm-level reliability is not confused with program rules and conditions.
Firms I have personally used
I do not label every review as personally tested. These are the firms where I have direct account experience. Other reviews rely on official rules, terms, dashboards and published documentation, and I identify that difference.
Account purchased and traded
These firms are backed by direct account use rather than sales-page research alone.
Payout received
I have received payouts from Instant Funding and WeMasterTrade. That does not guarantee another trader will be paid, but it is stronger evidence than repeating a firm’s own marketing claims.
How I research a prop firm
I use the same basic process across reviews so that promotional claims do not replace rule analysis or direct evidence.
Read the official rules
I begin with the program pages, FAQs, terms, help center and account conditions.
Compare both stages
I separate evaluation rules from the conditions that apply after a trader qualifies.
Test where practical
I purchase and trade accounts when doing so adds meaningful evidence to the review.
Label the evidence
I distinguish firsthand experience from official documentation and third-party reports.

I built TraderFuel to make the fine print easier to understand
I’m Wilson Borjas, the founder of TraderFuel. I started this site after buying and trading prop-firm accounts myself and seeing how often the most important restrictions were buried outside the sales page.
My goal is simple: turn fragmented prop-firm rules into structured, comparable research, explain them in plain language, show exactly what I have tested and help you avoid paying for an account that does not fit your trading style.

These answers explain the evidence behind the reviews without making broad legal, tax or payout guarantees.
Does TraderFuel personally test every prop firm?
No. I clearly distinguish direct account experience from reviews based on official program rules, terms, dashboards and published documentation. Claiming every firm is personally tested would be inaccurate.
Which firms has TraderFuel used directly?
I have purchased accounts from FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips, Blue Guardian, Sure Leverage, Instant Funding and WeMasterTrade. I have received payouts from Instant Funding and WeMasterTrade.
Does TraderFuel earn affiliate commissions?
Yes. TraderFuel may earn a commission when a reader purchases through an affiliate link. This does not increase the reader’s price, and affiliate relationships do not determine the evidence label or editorial conclusion.
Affiliate-funded, editorially independent
TraderFuel uses affiliate links and may earn a commission when you purchase through the site. This does not increase your price. Affiliate relationships do not determine my conclusions, and direct experience is always separated from documentary research.
